QALA Singapore Pte Ltd Acquires GWNNet Customers

SINGAPORE, 4th Aug 2003 - Qala Singapore Pte Ltd, one of Singapore's largest, privately owned Internet Service Providers (ISPs) funded by Creative Technology Ltd. (Singapore) and Vertex Venture Capital (Singapore) today announced it has acquired the customers of GWNNet another Singapore-based ISP.

GWNNet currently provides Internet access and related services to business and residential customers in Singapore. This acquisition further expands Qala’s reach into the corporate internet access market.
GWNNet’s more than 600 business and residential customers will gain access to Qala’s full range of Internet services provided through its broadband network. With the acquisition of GWNNet customers, Qala is building upon a strong record of success in the Singapore corporate ISP market.

The acquisition of this pool of customers complements our existing line of services and increases our presence in a growing market. While many Internet companies are struggling in face of a shrinking economy, we feel that we can exploit our core competencies - access, automation, and customer service - to flourish even in these tough times.
